When: 7pm - 9pm, Tuesday 17th November
Ever wondered what lives in the wetlands after dark? Join us for the annual Frog Census at Alphington Wetlands and help discover the remarkable diversity of frogs that call this unique habitat home.

This popular community citizen science event offers a chance to explore the wetlands at dusk, learn how to identify local frog species by their calls, and contribute valuable information to ongoing environmental monitoring. Whether you're a keen naturalist, a family looking for a fun outdoor activity, or simply curious about local wildlife, everyone is welcome.
Led by MCMC Coordinator of Citizen Science and Waterway Education, the evening will include a guided walk through the wetlands, opportunities to listen for and identify frogs, and insights into the important role wetlands play in supporting biodiversity.
Come along, connect with nature, and help us build a better understanding of the health of our local environment through citizen science. Families are most welcome.
